Woman in company of Nigeria Police Boss that died in hotel room is investigated

The female Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) in company of Late Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Police in-charge of investigations, Mr. Ganiyi Ali Dawodu, at a hotel room during his death has been flown to Abuja, Federal Capital Territory, for questioning.
A senior police officer stated, “The female officer, who came from Port-Harcourt, Rivers State, was ordered to be flown to Abuja, by Ringim to help the detectives in their investigation, into the cause of the sudden death of the police boss.
It is part of investigation. The lady was with him in the same room before he died. So, police authorities would like to get details of what transpired in the hotel room and how the DIG died. Nobody is accusing her of killing oga, but it is part of fact finding. She has to keep the record straight on what really transpired. We are talking of a Deputy Inspector General of Police and not a small person in the society,”
